Cos you like it dirty, chunky and funky….
I don’t pretend to be a poet. However, from time to time, we all have deep feelings inside of us that need to be expressed somehow. When you’re at the bottom of the deepest trough or on the crest of a wave, it can come bubbling out without explanation.
Poems mean a lot to the person who wrote them; often they will make no sense at all to someone who does not know the circumstances behind them. Then, they are not usually intended for an audience. What you cannot express yourself, you can often find mirrored in other’s poems.
I have written some stuff myself, which you might or might not be interested in. I have also included the one poem that means so much to me, and one by which I have striven to live my life. If you ever only read one poem in your life, read this!
