I could have just barged past onto the bus. But I had to stop to listen out of curiosity to this exercise in futility.
For a long and agonising moment at the front of a lengthy queue, some uppity Indian chap – whose grasp of english was only a passing one – was noisily waving his hands about while demanding a ticket to Victoria Station from the driver. The Polish bus-driver hardly spoke english himself and was struggling to explain the fact that this bus didn’t GO there. It degenerated into shouting.
I don’t think I could have helped here, though: I couldn’t speak for laughter.
Category: Blogging, Manchester

Haha gotta love how cultured Manchester is! Sounds like a pretty funny situation lol
Peace
P.S. I like your Tag Cloud – I tried to get one for mine the other day but you can’t do it with Blogger if you publish via FTP for some reason.
Also like your date function. I saw that in one of the blog templates I was looking at the other week.
Is this a WordPress blog?
It is indeed, mate. I *LOVE* WordPress.
I’m just setting up a Win2k8 server to host it at home as I’m less than happy with the VPS I’m running at serverchoice.com at the moment. I’ve spent more time ringing them shouting politely than writing blogs of late.
I looked at Blogger before deciding on WP. Seeing as I wanted complete control over how it runs (and I’m installing a photo-server thing on here too, soon) it was the best option to host it all myself.
