My mate Jeremy jetted of to Thailand this morning and has kindly loaned me his car. Unfortunately this meant that I had to be up to take him to Manchester Airport at 5am. Knowing how bad I am at getting up, I played it safe and just didn’t go to bed.

What better time to play with the new toys that Santa brought me! I’ve got a nice shiny MBox 2 Pro sat on my desk and the latest version of Protools which I’ve spent the past two months learning like mad. I’ve had a few tunes buzzing around in my head and decided to cobble together a new edit of a tune I really like.

I’ve taken the best bits from Dave Spoon’s “At Night”, some vocals from Stereoscum’s “Cocaine, Ketamine, Ecstasy”, a cheeky bassline and a bit of know-how to produce what I think is a stormer of a tune. I’ve only worked on it for four hours, so it will get a bit more polished once I’ve spent a bit more time on it, but you have to give it a listen. There is a link on my MySpace profile.
